LBC Single Life

The Activities Ministry comes up with ideas to promote fellowship within the singles group, such as Table for 5, Snowboarding and BBQ’s. We also plan events to fellowship and come together with the other affinity groups at Lighthouse. The fundraising ministry seeks to help raise money to support Single Life events throughout the year (retreats, fellowship activities, outreach projects, etc.). If you are interested thinking of ideas for fundraising and/or organizing the fundraising events themselves, we would be delighted to have you serve in this ministry. We hope to raise enough funds to be able to invite a guest speaker for our next single’s retreat.  For mor info contact Ted Su

The praise team is responsible for times of corporate worship through music. We facilitate this worship at every bible study and also at our annual retreats. All positions are open for consideration of new band members. In order to join, you must be a member of Lighthouse and able to make it to practices from 5:30 – 6:30 pm on Fridays. This ministry is focused on welcoming first-time visitors to the Friday Night Light (FNL). We enthusiastically greet people at the front door and obtain valuable contact information from newcomers. We contact them during the week and answer any questions they may have about the church. We also like to channel our energy to cultivate a high level of excitement for FNL. We are always looking for fresh faces and ideas, so please join! The only requirements are that you are a member in good standing. Friendliness is a plus. For more info contact Alex Ko.

The setup/cleanup ministry exists to serve God and the body of Christ by setting up the sanctuary before each Friday Night Life for those who come with hearts ready to worship. We are also in charge of cleaning up after every Bible study and Single Life function. If you are passionate about serving others in this capacity, we are looking for a few faithful men and women. We would ask that you come 15 minutes early to Bible study to help set up chairs, tables, equipments, etc., and/or stay behind after fellowship to assist with cleaning up. The singles web team exists to provide a source for current information about the single life ministry. From events and announcements, to sermon downloads we try to provide as much as we can for the encouragement and building up of the those in the Single Life. Even if you don’t know a thing about web sites, if you are interested in writing articles that would provide helpful or encouraging information for singles at LBC or would like to help keep information current you should consider joining the single life web team.
